STAKEHOLDER FORUM

Sustainable Management of Plastics along the Value Chain - From challenges to joint action

How can the Master Framework for Ghana’s National Plastics Action Partnership be translated into concrete action for sustainable management of plastics in the country? This was the guiding question experts from Germany and Ghana were given to illustrate how the different stakeholders can contribute in practice to such endeavour. Speakers will pool expertise from plastics and recycling industries, consultancy on Extended Producer Responsibility, environmental agency, scientific think tanks, and NGOs. The forum is convened by the Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI) together with Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). It is implemented in collaboration with PREVENT – Waste Alliance and supported by the State Government of North Rhine Westphalia.
