German Training Week – Solar

Ghana has the highest electricity tariffs in Sub Saharan Africa with an average annual electricity price increase of 16% over the last 6 years. In addition, power demand is constantly growing with the Government implementing initiatives to expedite industrial growth. Such initiatives include the “One District One Factory” initiative that aims at building 50-65 factories per year from 2017 to 2020.    From 2008 to 2017, Ghana’s industrial load increased by 5.3%.
